Juneathon day 29: last of the hopeless days!
fitness, food ·Words like "write-off" spring to mind when I think about today; with Mrs H out from 6:40AM until 10:30PM, and a not-yet-housetrained Sam the Cockapoo around, there hasn't been a good deal of chance to get out for some decent Juneathon-ing! So, again, all I've managed is a token 1:40 plank to keep my record clean.
That's not to say it's been a bad day, though. Me and the girls (our 11yo is on scout camp) had a trip into Amersham for a quick coffee in H+H, which was a treat - they are definitely one of the top three coffee shops in Amersham (alongside the Cafe at 91 and Seasons). I did manage to get a few coffee-raise reps in, while I was there, but I'm not sure that counts... Then, later on, my friend Holger popped round when he got back from a training day in London for the new business he's setting up. We had lamb chops with lots of tasty vegetables, followed by strawberries and cream. Mmmm mmm!
Well, now it's time for bed since I have an early start tomorrow for some open water swimming at Heron Lake - woo hoo!
