Janathon '20 day 3: morning circuits

I'm just putting this out there now since, based on the way I'm feeling, there's not much else I'll be doing!

There is a local outdoor training bootcamp-type group I train with during the week. It is called FFS - standing for Faster, Fitter, Stronger, of course! Given the normal weekly business associated with having three kids and a wife who teaches yoga on quite a few evenings, it turns out that mornings are the best time to train. Their 6:30am sessions on Monday, Wednesday and Friday therefore fit the bill very well.

After a few weeks of hiatus over Christmas/New Year etc, I was back on it this morning. The current phase is circuits, mixing up a range of activities in groups of four sets at each of four stations.

The forecast had been dry, at least; not so much the reality. Nevertheless, I spent an hour doing various activities to do with running, lifting, pressing, planking etc. Generally good fun!

The hardest bit, it turned out, was the fact I was feeling a little bit queasy after finding some packs of bad food last night at a moment of weakness. As a result I didn't sleep too well, not helped by keeping on waking up thinking I'd overslept, only to find out it was still only 4am. Grrr!

Oh well, that's it for today. Tomorrow: parkrun, yay!
