Training app (janathon day 19)
Journal, Janathon, Training ·If you’ve ever wanted to use an app to track your training, and you have an Android phone, I have a recommendation for you. The app is called FitNotes, and it is excellent. It does a single thing - tracking training - and does it very well. It’s also free (but you can become a supporter, which I ended up doing as it is so good), and doesn’t contain adverts. Finally it’s clear and easy to use.
My son moved from Android to iPhone a few years ago (primarily to get the full iMessage experience, as I understand it). Overall he’s happy with his new phone, but despite lots of research he says he hasn’t been able to find an app anywhere near as good as this one on iPhone. So if that’s the phone you’ve got, I’m sorry but I can’t give you any recommendations.
This came to mind because I slipped in a quick gym session this evening for Janathon, during which I tracked a few things in it. Such as:
Janathon entry: 2km row (7:20 in total, which was a surprise); squats; overhead presses; lat pulldowns
