Monday (janathon day 23)
Journal, Janathon ·It’s been a busy day today, which I like. Also a pretty cold one, which honestly I’m not quite so keen on. It started with my early-morning training bootcamp thing, which was really mighty cold (something like -6C apparently). There was a certain amount of lying down to do core exercises, too, which thankfully got replaced second time round - the trainer took mercy on us.
For work, I had a list of things I wanted to knock off, and I got most of them out the way without having to stay too late. I’m trying to get back to eating slightly better food, too, and switched to a salad and hard-boiled eggs for lunch, with a nice high-protein yogurt. I’m hoping if I can make it through about three days staying on plan, things will get a bit easier. I guess I’ll know the answer to that on Wednesday night.
This evening was Ellie’s yoga class, which was lovely. Then a quick trip to Tesco to buy some stuff in preparation for my first work trip to London tomorrow.
I managed to do some flute yesterday, and am about to tackle a few minutes now as well, so I think I’ll leave this here.
